Returns and Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are only accepted should they comply with the following terms and conditions.

Regarding "Hanaha Knives" and "Satake Sangyo Knives"
Returns and exchanges are accepted only for unopened and unused items. Items must be returned in the same condition as when shipped, including the original packaging. Additionally, all shipping labels and order receipts must be included with the returned item.
For Tabi Shoes/Tabi Sandals, only unopened/unused items or items that have been tried on indoors will be accepted for return or exchange. For Tabi Socks, only unopened/unused items are accepted. However, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the items are returned in the same condition as which they were shipped, including initial packaging as well. In addition, all shipping and order receipts must be included with the returned item.
If there is a defect:
We pay close attention to quality control, however in the unlikely event that the product is damaged or defective, we will return or exchange it only if the customer contacts us within 7 days from the arrival date of the item. Please include a photograph of the damaged or defective part using the CONTACT form. Once the initial defect etc. is confirmed, we will begin the exchange or refund procedure.
If there is no defect:
We accept all returns or exchanges within 7 days from the arrival date, regardless of condition. However, if the terms above are not met, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Should the customer request an exchange, outbound shipping costs will also be the responsibility of the customer. The company will only refund the item price. For items received initially through free shipping, the customer remains responsible for all new shipping costs. In addition, before returning or exchanging, the customer must contact us via the CONTACT form expressing intent to return or exchange, as well as any relevant photographs.
Available Period for Returns and Exchanges
Refunds and exchanges are only possible within a 7 day period beginning from the item arrival date.
Refunds and exchanges are not available should that timeframe expire, ie. 8 or more days from the item arrival date.
About Refunds
If there is a defect: We will refund the item price and the shipping cost on return.
If there is no defect: We will refund the item price only.
Once we have confirmed and accepted the returned item, we will begin the refund procedure. If payment was made with PayPal, refunds will be applied to the same PayPal account. If payment was made by Credit Card, refunds will be applied to the same Credit Card. Our refund process may take up to 10 business days. After that, it may take about 5-10 business days for PayPal or the Credit Card company to process the refund.
Shipping Cost When Exchanging Items
If there is a defect: We will pay for the round trip shipping.
If there is no defect: The customer is responsible for the cost of the round trip shipping.
