The 100% cotton denim is sourced from Okayama, a region famous for their high quality denim products. Originally used for children's pants, this denim has long been applied to a wide range of items. As the material is washable, you can enjoy the unique way the indigo color fades over time. A stripped design is featured on the inner lining, allowing for a subtle variation in style and look when you fold the fabric down.
How to chose shoe size
Recommended to Select One Size Up
We recommend choosing a size that's 0.5 to 1 cm larger than your usual. This will give your feet a more comfortable fit, especially if they swell. If you go with your exact size, the fit may become too tight. Don’t worry if they feel slightly bigger— the Kohaze (ankle fasteners) will keep them secure and prevent slipping.

1.Wear with Tabi Socks or Barefoot
Tabi socks are recommended to prevent moisture buildup and a proper fit.
2.Put your Feet into the Tabi Shoes
Insert your foot into the tabi until your toe is pressed firmly, yet comfortably, and your foot matches the sole.

3.Fastening the Kohaze Hook (a)
Sit in a chair with your foot across your leg at a 90 degree angle.
4.Fastening the Kohaze Hook (b)
Fasten the kohaze hooks one by one from the heel to the ankle. Loosen the ukeito threads and gently widen the kohaze hooks to make it easier to fasten them in place. You can adjust the thread position to better fit your ankle. Make sure the fit is snug--not too loose or tight--for comfortable walking.
5.Check the Fit
Stand up and walk around to test the fit of the tabi. If the kohaze feel too loose or tight, you can adjust the ukeito threads for a better fit. Once comfortable, secure the shoes to finish.
Tabi Wearing Styles and Arrangements
You can unhook the upper portion of the kohaze and fold it down to expose the lining design. Have fun exploring different ways of wearing them and find your own individual style!
